 Biggest Domestic Weekend Total: “Avengers: Endgame” led the overall North American box office to its first $400 million weekend, obliterating the record of $314 million set a year ago when “Avengers: Infinity War” opened.  Disney-Marvel’s “ Avengers: Endgame ” has set more than a dozen box office records in its first five days — many by wide margins. These are some of the records the superhero tentpole is destroying on its first weekend at the box office: Biggest Worldwide Opening: “Avengers: Endgame” grossed $1.2 billion worldwide. The budget of this movie is $356 million and box office is $2.798 billion. The appeal of Avengers: Endgame is worldwide, though, and has already seen the film break several records internationally. After earning $169M in its first day overseas, the box office now stands at $305M internationally in just two days. 

The anticipation for Avengers: Endgame was seen well before the reactions and reviews indicated that the movie lived up to the hype. Box office predictions for the latest directorial effort from Anthony and Joe Russo began calling for the biggest opening weekend of all time before tickets even went on sale. Once they did, the rush to buy them saw ticketing services crash around the world. This buzz has continued as box office tracking reports indicated Avengers: Endgame will likely have the biggest world wide opening weekend of all-time, as well as domestically.

  Since the film was shot on a wind up Bolex, sound couldn't be recorded on set. All the dialogue was then dubbed in post. Director Mark Jenkin processed the 130 rolls of Kodak 16mm B&W film 16mm film himself in his studio. Much of the film was shot in the Admiral Benbow, Penzance. This pub, opened in 1959, houses thousands of artefacts salvaged from ships wrecked of the Cornish coast and the Isles of Sicily. Printed Film Format  is D cinema.  "The wind on my Bolex allows for 27 seconds of shooting time, so no single take is ever longer than that," he says. "Although in practice we actually  lit pretty much everything - the exterior and interiors scenes  with LEDs to subtly lift the look as appropriate, I wanted the result to look as natural as possible."   Technology : Special Effects Avengers: Endgame is one of five movies competing at the 2020 Oscars for best visual effects.  Al Maloney spoke to Frame store's Stuart Penn about the challenges of creating the effects for the film.  The movie contains nearly 2,500 visual effects shots from VFX houses, including Frame store, Weta Digital, Industrial Light & Magic, and DNEG that were worked on for three years.  The portals featured special effects. The Avengers ran straight toward Thanos and his army. The Avengers preparing for their final "Endgame" battle. They assembled once everyone returned.
